The purpose of this section is to provide you with an overview of the provisions of the Healthcare Employees’ Pension Plan (HEPP) and to help you plan for your eventual retirement. An exact and complete description of the Plan provisions and entitlements can be found in the HEPP Plan Text. Where questions arise about interpretation, the Plan Text will govern. In addition, the Plan is subject to the provisions of the Manitoba Pension Benefits Act as well as the federal government’s Income Tax Act.
