Eligibility
Upon your retirement, you and your eligible family members can participate in the HEB Manitoba Retiree Healthcare Plan.
- Eligible family members include your spouse/common-law partner and dependant children.
- A common-law partner must be registered at the time of enrolment or their coverage will be subject to a one-year waiting period from the date you declare the relationship.
- A dependant means all natural children, legally adopted children, and stepchildren and children of your common-law partner. Please note the children of your common-law partner are only considered dependant children if they live with you and your partner. All children must be unmarried, under the age of 21 and dependent upon you for support; or unmarried, under age 25 and in full-time attendance at a specialized school, college or university. The age restriction does not apply to a child who is physically or mentally incapacitated before reaching age 21.
